MONITOR FOR BATTLEFIELD 1942 (and forthcoming BF2)

Great service you're running here!!
Unfortunatelly we have a game not supported by this site... :oops:

I want to suggest a monitor for the game Battlefield 1942 as well as Battlefield Vietnam. :idea:

It shouldn't be a problem as they are very similar to eachother and just use different ports (BF1942 14567 and BFV 15567)

I use this service paralell to ServerShots.com to have double monitoring at my website and I really hope that I see BF1942 here soon.

Of course I also hope for a Battlefield 2 monitor after it's release. :roll:

Game-Monitor already supports BFV, but does not list BF1942, which I guess I can add very easily.

As for BF2, we will definately be adding that game shortly after it is release. :)

OK, I thought it was because of that I couldn't see our server...
Must be something else that cause this problem in my end then.

I hope it should be possible to use more than one port for a server to monitor different games.
We currently use bfv at port 15567, and bf1942 at port 14567 on the same server (217.73.105.17), and as we could see one of them I believed the problem were that 1942 was unsupported...

Well, I will search for the problem in the server.

I do not think that Game-Monitor adds BF1942 servers to the listings yet. So that may be why your BF1942 server is not showing up.

Let me ask the question like this:
If I put the IP number "217.73.105.17" in the search, I do see the BFV at port 15567, but should I see BF1942 also at port 14567 or is it not supported?

I just want to know if I need to search for a problem in the server or if everything is correct.
(I will delete these stupid support questions myself later from this thread. Sorry.) :oops:

OK, thank you. I don't have to search for errors at my server then.

Thanks for your help. We are all looking forward to the fix for listing BF1942 in a near future. There are many who would apriciate it, and many who's playing the nearest you can get BF2 (the 1942 mod "Desert Combat") as we all wait for the BF2 release.
So, please list/support BF1942 soon...

I discovered that I can't erase my messages here, so feel free to delete them since only my first message was in the right thread with the suggestion for BF1942 & BF2.
