how can i open a mta server?

does ur webhost allows running game servers on it if not than u cant run it on ur webhost u need to look for game server provider. And download the mta server file for windows or linux whichever u have and edit the mtaserver.cfg file with notpad and set ur port and admin port and password and players and stuff and exectue the mtaserver.exe and u got ur server running .

i did that but i cant see my server in the server list and i had a question.. in the client page it writes to new subscribers cant see package name etc.. it ll be seen when the welcome mail comes.. i get welcome mail but i cant see any package name?? what is my problem please help me.. i configurate my setting in mtaserver.cfg and set everything but when i'm trying to connect to server it gives connection time out error.. im really bored about that..and i added server in this site and it says already exist..where am i wrong pls help me about that thanks..
